FAQ

How long does collision repair take?

It depends on damage and parts. Light cosmetic repairs (a bumper, a fender) often finish in 3–5 business days. Mid-level repairs run roughly 1–2 weeks. Structural repairs with frame work, ADAS calibration, and OEM parts on order can take 2–4 weeks or more. We give you a realistic completion date after the teardown, not a guess.

Typical timelines

  • Light cosmetic (1–2 panels, no structural work): 3–5 business days.
  • Moderate damage (multiple panels, paintwork, minor mechanical): 1–2 weeks.
  • Heavy / structural (frame, suspension, airbag, ADAS calibration): 2–4 weeks, sometimes longer for European marques where OEM parts ship from overseas.

These are real-world ranges, not promises. The right answer for your car comes after teardown.

What can stretch the timeline

  • OEM part backorder (common on newer Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, Ferrari, Rivian models).
  • Hidden damage found during teardown that requires a supplement approval.
  • Slow insurance response on a supplement or rate negotiation.
  • ADAS recalibration appointments at the manufacturer-approved facility.
  • Paint match cure time on metallic and tri-stage finishes.

What we do to keep things moving

  • Pre-order long-lead OEM parts at supplement approval, not at start of repair.
  • Negotiate supplements directly with the carrier so you're not in the middle.
  • Update you when something changes — not days later.
